The ineffable date for Good Omens series 2 has been delivered: JULY 28! This was announced along with a brilliant poster, which referenced the Buddy Holly song "Everyday". So let's find each other across social media and count down the days together!

Welcome to #GOmensEveryday!

Starting May 29, the 66th anniversary of Mr. Holly recording "Everyday", we want to see this fandom's excitement through:

Fan art, Comics, Fanfic, Poetry, Essays, Coloring pages, Phone wallpapers, Collages, Photography, Embroidery, Cosplay photo, Cosplay video, Fanvids, Video edits, Playlists, Baked goods

...and anything else you can think of that fits with the themes ("Everyday", countdown, series 2).

Fan works can be newly created or previously shared! NSFW art and fic welcome, just tag appropriately.

The song was originally intended as the Good Omens theme song, and is very special to Neil and Terry! We know it's going to be special to our fandom too.

We need AT MINIMUM 60 fans who want to join us. So don't worry you're taking someone's spot: EVERYONE will have a day. If we have more than 60, we'll start doubling up. The more the merrier!

I can't belive we got them sitting on the roof of the book shop with galaxies in the background while pink hearts rain down on them. It's so cheesy. I love it. I can't wait for the new season to drop.

saw some ppl on twitter saying: omg i’m scared that aziracrow won’t have other kisses in S3 because gabriel and beelzebub didn’t kiss and they’re also an angel and a demon…

yes, they are, BUT the whole point of aziracrow is that they enjoy earthly things - like food, dancing, drinking, reading, listening to music, etc. they may be celestials, but they bond over how much they love the silly little human existence they created for themselves, and they’re learning to express they’re feelings in a very human way, like the dancing at the ball, the kiss, the songs and the little arm touches!

and the whole “they’re ace” thing doesn’t mean they can’t kiss - you guys know that many ace people have sex, right? they may not experience sexual attraction the same way as other ppl, but they still get horny ‘cause that’s how bodies work lol - plus kissing is not sexual, it is mostly romantic, it can be a physical expression of love, a very pure and beautiful one.

anyways, i wouldn’t worry about them not kissing again, especially after aziraphale’s internal “do it again” and the lip touching later on… both of them CLEARLY ENJOYED THAT KISS!!!! plus, our dear crowley deserves to have azi kiss him back, like for real this time 😭

and last but not least: neil gaiman NEVER disappoints when it comes to writing. babygurl serves every single time, i say just trust him ‘cause that man can WRITE!!! (ily @neil-gaiman i want ur golden brain)

Inspired by AMAZING Pass the Brush style fan vids for series 1, for the event #GOmensEverday (@gomenseveryday) looking to make a video project!

But I need you, cosplayers of all skill level!

"Good Omens Gettin’ Closer” will be a compilation of 10-20 second videos of fellow fans in cosplay or closetplay. The song? "Everyday" by Buddy Holly, naturally!

Videos will start with your Good Omens-themed item up against the camera. Then we see you waaaiting in everyday casual wear!

Boop the camera with the item. Pull back to reveal you in a GO cosplay/closetplay!

A final item-boop to the camera will let the next person show off!

PORTRAIT NOT LANDSCAPE! (SO IMPORTANT!)

I'll need the 10-20 secs vid by July 1 for time to edit. Release TBD July 21 - 24.

I'll take as many GO fans as want to participate. ANY characters, ANY skill level! 😇😎
